dinner at ours

Louise, John and Bobby came for dinner at ours tonight. I made ragout de sanglier (wild boar stew) with polenta for main and then panna cotta with caramelised quince for dessert.

It was great to have L, J and B here as they had also stayed in this house on holiday in 1994 - almost 20 years ago! Crazy. They enjoyed seeing the place and I loved cooking for them. Dad called over at the coffee stage and we chatted away whilst storms passed by outside.
