Tree at Castle Campbell

This magnificent tree stands sentinel at the gates of Castle Campbell in Dollar Glen and it was looking great today with the sun bringing out the greens and touches of yellow in the afternoon sun. The change in temperature today was marked and with the drop came a fine bright day and a much more autumnal feel.

Just been to the cinema to see "Sunshine on Leith" : it is an enjoyable feel good film and the interpretation of the songs of The Proclaimers is cleverly done. The rendering of the title song is very different from how it is usually sung as the Hibernian Anthem!
