Better on the inside

I was at Scottish Parliament today for another meeting. This time I was further into the inner sanctum than I usually get. I'm not quite in the inner circle yet though!

The building might be an eyesore from the outside, but inside it's actually pretty beautiful! Many years ago, when I worked for the police I got an access all areas tour of the Scottish Parliament building and the architecture was all explained to me. I've forgotten most of it, but I do remember something to do with boats!

Tonight I actually frequented a pub. Imagine that!
