New drink

Found this lovely new drink at our favourite shop Cranachan and Crowdie on the Royal Mile - haven't tried it yet but sure it will be lovely. Made by the Orkney Wine Company and it is part of their Private Collection, the winemaker's favourite.
It is a Port-style Elderberry wine. Deep, dark berry fruits, rich, multi-layered flavour with a spicy bite. Excellent with an after-dinner cheese board.

Made with elderberries, blackcurrants, brambles, wild sloes and root ginger. Matured with oak.

17% alc vol. - can't wait to try it - watch this space ...
