abstracty - with overtones...

...of christmas

yes - i said it! christmas... i didn't mean to - hadn't planned on it - wasn't going to - for it's waaaay to early still - at least in my mind, to be thinking of such things!

but then i glanced at the dying off tiger lily flowers in their vase - figured this was my last opportunity to shoot them - take advantage - while i was contemplating - i noticed the abstract images before me - on the blossoms - that appeared as ornaments almost - nay, more like the ribbon candy you can buy at christmas time - you know of what i speak? the confectioner's delight - which creates magic in your mouth? and so i knew it had to be this that i would blip today - although i must point out, the princess diva was most cooperative in sitting for me this morning - allowing me to snap shots of her as well - so it's a good sign she is on the continued mend - boo! but when flowers are on their last leg - one must grab the chance offered - so here it is - the christmas reminder - albeit an abstract sort of thingy - which has also led to...
