Distant Relatives

Tonight we mingled with some of our distant family who came in from Cali at my uncle's lake house. What a perfect evening. Food, family and drinks; laughs, games and happiness.

When the sun was setting, I had to snap this shot. So simple yet sums the evening up perfectly. Since we were so far out, I also saw the constellation Scorpius perfectly. What a great evening; it was much needed especially with all the stresses in mine and the hub's lives lately.

PS: this is the last sunset of summer and I captured it. I find this little simplicity truly amazing. Perfect.
