Nothing Special

Not a special picture.

This is just me, sat on a Sunday morning, waiting by the kayak while J went to rent a paddleboard, so we could both get out on the ocean together.

R had stayed over at B's house for a birthday sleepover, so a big chance to get out. We had seals in bunches chasing anchovies close up (too close up for me - the anchovies jumping means a whole pack of seagulls too. I hate seagulls). There was a daring open-water transfer, as J and I swapped from kayak to paddleboard, so I could be unceremoniously dumped in the shallow water, as I tried to make it back through the waves.

Anyway, the picture wasn't anything special, but the day was.
