Crane Fly (Daddy Longlegs)

I found this chap on the garage today when I went out to the car so I quickly rushed back inside to grab my camera. He was still there when I arrived back outside and he obligingly stayed still while I photographed him. It was only when I'd finished that I realised he hadn't moved at all and was in fact an ex-crane fly. If you look closely you will see that he has become caught in some strands of a spider's web and must have died trying to break free. RIP crane fly.
