Rhododendron Gardens

I try and go for a walk most days to keep fit and now I have joined Blipfoto I will need to take my camera. How lucky am I that the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens are just down the road? This 18.5 hectare garden in Blackheath was established in 1970 and is maintained by community volunteers. Colourful exotic plants including rhododendrons and azaleas co-exist happily with native vegetation. The gardens are open all year and entry is by gold coin to the honesty box.
