I finished work early today and instead of rushing home and being busy with all the things I always feel I ought to do, I got into bed with a book and a gin and tonic and listened to opera, as the lightening flashed and the rain fell outside.

When Berry got home, he thought I'd lost it, but then he did the same, before we went out for dinner with friends.
