The view to the Cotswolds

I took this panorama on the way back from viewing the visitors book at the Crematorium where my Mum & Dads ashes are interned.
Ten years to the day!Although I didn't really feel up to it.I knew I must make the effort!
This is is view of the West Escarpment just North of Bath and East of Bristol. It is quite a picturesque area of small villages in a very Agricultural area.
The little church nestles in the valley of the historic parish of North Leach. On the ridge above it on the Cotswolds was fought a major battle in the English Civil War between the Royalists and the army of Oliver Cromwell which led to the fall of the City of Bristol eventually?
I hope you enjoyed the history lesson? And the photo!
