A Moment Of Peace

The sun came out today. I didn’t get to see it much but it having got to late afternoon without stopping, I nipped outside to find a glorious day. The twisted pattern of this bark caught in the low rays of afternoon light looked particularly beautiful, as did the leaves reflected against the clear blue sky. A brief moment of peace. Tomorrow is Friday. What has happened to this week?
