Flashback Hatchback

When this charming old motor from c.1986 came past me, I was momentarily convinced it was a mark I Fiesta, with its replacement tailgate. However, catching up with the guy, he told me the tale of how it came to be on there after a little pre-purchase slip up.
Whatever the mismatch, it's not an easy car to come by in these times. The tailgate does show how the facelift ironed out some of those imposing contour lines of the original 1976 design.
This car needs some TLC, but is, seemingly in the hands of a motor connoisseur!
