This is the 'brilliant banana loaf' (with added chocolate chips) from the BBC Good Food site, which I baked tonight. I was a bit surprised that it hadn't risen as much as it should have, as I'd used my newly-discover 'harina de reposteria', which I'd thought was self-raising flour.....I now know it's pastry flour! Oh well, back to the baking board and to the concoction of plain flour, baking powder etc I used to use in Budapest for baking cakes. Note: the loaf will be eaten all the same!
