Parent and Child

Spent all day at home working in the orchard and garden, there were apples to be harvested, grass to be cut, beds to be weeded and pathways to clear. The sun shone and it was so good to be out and not stuck in the shop, I enjoy my job but much prefer to be outside on dry days!
At the end of the day I walked the headland at Sunny Cove, the light was beautiful and reminded me of similar weather when I arrived in Ireland 20 years ago this month. The cygnets were quite well camouflaged against the rocks, I think they were feeding on the seaweed.
