Knocked off ...

... early from work to go and get my hair cut in Leith. True to form the heavens opened as soon as I left the building, rendering the glamorous do, well, pretty much as it had been an hour earlier. The hairdressing fee is high but worth it for the glass of wine and mouth-watering showbiz gossip from New York.

Although this is my second number shot in a row, I don't have an obsession. A sweep of houses nearby had all sorts of nautical knockers / handles, which are begging to be blipped.

Not sure exactly what this creature is, but as with many items to be found in the Forth, I wouldn't like to meet it in one of my paddles.
