WILDLIFE WEEK 2013

Concluding day of the week-long celebration today at Manipur Zoological Garden hosted by the Department of Forest, Government of Manipur. Wildlife weeks are observed throughout India in the 1st week of October every year starting 1985 with the sole aim to conserve wildlife, forest and environment.

The Department (Wildlife Wing) hold a Wildlife Photo Competition as part of the competition. Two of my students - Samarjit and Johny - won in the Mammal and Birds category each.
