Mystical sunset...

Today we drove up to eastern Kentucky ,into the Appalachian mountains. We stopped at a river and started walking up through this beautiful old forest that lead all the way to the top of a natural arch. Yakking away we hadn't realized that we were now at the top of this mountain.
Admiring the view I had to confess to my friend that I had this dicky knee that was great going UP and great on the flat .. But going down was not easy! Would you believe,from no where, this young woman appeared and asked said" are you looking for a way to get down?"
I admitted I was.. Well if we walked about a half a mile more, we'd find the sky lift that would take us down. She was an angel. It was a huge relief, great for the knee and quite an experience as you come over the edge in this flimsy little chair and descend into the valley..so peaceful . Felt like a bird.
Tonight I was walking in the cool evening, enjoying the fading light and caught the last of the setting sun's rays reflecting off the windows of my favorite barns.. Loading them on my I pad this evening , it looks as though there are symbols in the glass..
