Feeding time

The bird life surrounding our property brings great opportunity to sometimes hand feed them. Magpies are a special favorite as they are so easy to entice to our back door.
On occasions they will come to the door and warble to indicate their presence and should the door be open, they will even come inside.

I am amazed at how easy it is for them to pick up the smallest crumb with their rather large beaks. I have never had a nip on my fingers during these sessions.
