Two Terns

Had to leave the house for the day, carpet layers were coming to lay new carpet. Off to brunch at a local cafe, followed by a slow saunter through town. We had time to waste. We couldn't go home till late afternoon. Lots of window shopping, no money to spend as its needed for the carpet. Down to the bay to look at the beach and to watch people walking along the beach. Stopped along side the old jetty and watched the terns sleeping in the sun. Possibility of a blip here. Then off to get an ice cream again some time to watch people enjoying the sunny afternoon. Mr Whippy was doing a roaring trade selling ice creams to children and adults. Finally got home to new carpet and a strong smell of glue as the carpet has to be glued down because of Karen's wheelchair is hard on carpets. hopefully the smell will dissipate soon before we are asphyxiated.
