Do you wand me to read for you?

Hubby is away travelling again with work so Olivia has been warned to be extra helpful and help Mummy etc. When myself and Dex picked her up from the swimming pool this evening she was at her patronising best towards Dexter saying things such as:
"Did you miss me? I missed you today" and "Oh I love you Dexter, you're so cute!" This continued all the way home much to my bewilderment. When we were getting our things out of the car she was being really nice to me but also looking around as if to see if anyone was listening. She then looked at me and whispered "Do you think Santa heard that? Is it him who watches children or is the Elves? I really want to be on the good list. I'm going to stop being rude etc etc."
I have no idea where this has come from as Christmas is the last thing on my mind at the moment and we haven't mentioned it at home. However, I'm happy to play along with it as it makes for a much more peaceful house when the kids are being lovely to each other!
