This morning in Blackpool I took a candid shot of a man smoking in the doorway of a small bar, then I asked him for another shot, after a brief discussion about photography he offered me a drink. Inside were 4 other customers and a dog who were really welcoming and happy to be photographed, we had a lovely time and it gave me more confidence about asking for shots.
The man from the doorway is called Car as he is from Cardiff, he has lived in Blackpool for nearly a year but misses the army where he served for 26 years. He is here
