Saw this view yesterday and just thought that it was really beautiful with all the red leaves on the grey stairs. After my morning walk; today in beautiful warming sunshine although it was a chill in the air, I had a bit more time then usual before the bus. So, this is what I did. :)
Yesterday was a really nice day! I got to meet my favorite young girl - she's a little angel for sure!, taste Eritrean food and got a compliment that brightened my day even more! I was told I spoke the Kurdish word for 'hello' like a kurdish person. He told me that my pronunciation was perfect. That was so great to hear!! :) And encouraging. And fun, since I haven't seen him for a while and surprised him a bit.

A funny thing happened at work today. I sat in one of the rooms and helped a woman. Suddenly I heard my supervisors and excused myself to go and talk to them since they were in a meeting when I came to work. And then they were nowhere... just disappeared. I thought it strange and went in to continue helping out again. About 10 minutes after I heard them again and went out to look for them and they were nowhere to be found again. I was just so puzzled... What the...??
The woman I was helping laughed and said 'Ghosts!!' and I could only agree with her! After about 40 minutes and a bit of chaos at work - with me being the only volunteer there and lots of people wanting help... Fortunately that only lasted for about 15 minutes and then a colleague came and after that more came in to help. Well, when they finally came back from wherever I rushed up to one of them and just cornered her, so she wouldn't get away again... then I told her about their disappearing acts and she started laughing and kept laughing and laughing. And we giggled for a while. Friday afternoon.. :D
