Devil's Punch Bowl

After a sunny start, the weather finally broke with a vengeance!

I had enjoyed a delicious home-made soup and roll in the National Trust Cafe at Hindhead, before starting to walk up the old A3 road (now diverted though a tunnel) which was rapidly returning to nature. There was a fine drizzle when I left the car park, but by the time I'd walked several hundred metres or so it was somewhat heavier! I managed to hide behind a tree to get a few quick shots across the "punch bowl" before beating a nasty retreat back to the car and home for a much needed change of jeans.
