Alma Mater

Glasgow University tower at sunset, as we arrived at Kelvingrove Art Galleries for a wonderful concert by the Tallis Scholars. Before the concert, we had dinner in the Kelvingrove Cafe - surely the best clootie dumpling ever! I especially loved hearing Tavener's Funeral Ikos, which we performed for the first Scottish performance many years ago. Dunoon, you heard it first! And now we're paying for our pleasure with the Curse of Dunoon: waiting for the midnight ferry, having arrived at McInroy's Point just in time to see the 10.30 boat pull out.
