Fun .....

..... in the fountains.

I've spent most of today with my foot up resting, but this evening have been out in Bradford having fun. Myself Mr M and Spartan ( S ), caught the train over to Bradford and met up with Yearofhappy ( R ) at City Park to have a look at the light show that is happening in and around the mirror pool this week.

There were projections of giant fish, skulls and pocket watches around the edge of the pool and quite a few children were playing in the fountains ( despite the chilly weather ). R and S decided to have a run through the pool ( blipped ) and soon scared off all the children.

Once R had got her tights back on we all headed up to the Karachi Indian Restaurant for a bite to eat. R gave us a guided tour of all the 'interesting' places on the walk there including a mortuary and a brothel. R had to head off to her friends who was cooking for her, but the rest of us had a lovely and very good value meal at one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Bradford.

After eating Myself Mr M an S headed up the New Beehive pub ( another very old Bradford establishment ) for a pint and stopped of quickly at the Castle pub for a swift half, where Paul the owner ( and only bar staff this week ) took time out from pulling pints to play his harmonium and sing some traditional Indian songs.

It's been a grand night out, but my ankle will probably be suffering a bit tomorrow from all the walking. I have put a few more photos from tonight in a set here, but today's blip is .....
