A Familiar Vista

This is the view I grew up with. Out the kitchen window over the square. It wasn't always like this. The trees and the cinema were a later addition, as were the walls.

It looks quite dreary but I had a lot of fun down there.

In summer it became Wimbledon, the Olympics, a bike track.

In winter, a snowball fight arena.
