Storm Survivors

Crocus goulimyi having spent yesterday exposed to the strong gales that battered the garden. Crocus buds are designed to cope with wind and rain, being pointed and pencil thin, these opened briefly in a brighter moment beofre the rain returned. The flowers are a bit 'mucky' because of splashback during the torrential downpours.
