The fair is coming

Yay! Twice a year Carters Steam Fair comes to the park opposite my house. It's all steam powered and harks back to a bygone era. The rides are all painted in traditional fairground style and it has a real family feel. It's not big but it is lovely. When it comes in the spring its nice to open the windows and just listen to it. However when it comes in the autumn it usually pours down with rain (which is why I have blipped the sign now, in case I dont get over at the weekend). I will keep my fingers crossed for the weather.
