Morning bird-cuddling

Our Umbrella Cockatoo likes few things better than flying down from her sleeping perch at the foot of our bed to join us under the covers in the morning.

Usually, we're up and out promptly, but often Saturdays we'll linger in bed, and that was the case today.

So, Gracie got to spend some bed-time with her humans, and when Annie got up I 'launched' Gracie back to her perch where she promptly 'plopped' and awaited her ride to her cage for 'beaky breakfast'.

A lazy start to a great day.
