Marie-Lou

Up earlyish and had breakfast. Marie-Lou had cut up fruit again for us again and popped them into bowls in the fridge! Marie-Lou took a shuttle bus from Suratan with us. The shuttle buses in that area are free for all the people that live there. Morag and I felt bad as when we went through security they just let us through the other side as we were white but Marie-Lou had to get her bag checked. When we were out of the little village, Marie-Lou asked a taxi driver to take us to the Australian embassy. Morag didn't apply for a visa before she left so we went to check and get things speeded up. However, when we got there they said we needed to book an appointment. He gave Morag an email address so she can check with them to see if it is processing. After that we took a taxi to Gloryaetta shopping mall so I can buy my phone and also to buy some things for Sydney. We realised that the taxi driver was just driving around so we gave the money and hopped out the taxi. The security guards never check our bags properly when we enter into some of the shops. We got a huge welcome from one of them! Finally found a place to buy a iPhone. We had to wonder around quite a lot before we managed to get there. The people in there didn't speak great English which wasn't too helpful! They had no iPhone 4S left so I had to get a iPhone5. Hopefully going to get money back soon from insurance. We had a quick lunch at a funny pizza/quiche place before finding Marie-Lou a present. We got her some nice hand cream and some lip balms from body shop. Back at the house, I tried to sort out my new phone but it connected to Marie-Anne's iTunes on her computer which was slightly scary!! Bit stressful trying to get it all right... eventually managed! Marie-Lou cooked an amazing supper for us. Pork, mashed potato, green beans...etc. It was so good. The classic plate of mango afterwards. Had a good Skype with Hannah BB tonight. Sad I won't be seeing her flat with Maddie, Jenna and Emma in it. Packed my bag ready to fly off to Taiwan tomorrow!
