Uninvited Guests

This kale plant has been a star performer on our plot all summer long. We have had lots of leaves for salads and soups from it. We had thought it would make it into the winter, but earlier this week we spotted these uninvited guests on each and every leaf. So we have decided it's time to call time and send the kale and its new residents off to the compost heap.
