At The End

Evening all.

In the corner of a slightly overgrown and slightly sad area of a nearly decrepit churchyard in Chapeltown, stands this forlorn and poignant stone.

It is essentially the story of a young man who sustained a fatal injury whilst playing football for his local team, lived for about twelve hours after then died the following day.

I've no more details than what I've written here and what it says on the stone, although I have tried to find a few more details but without success.

and somehow, it always strikes me as an incredibly tragic and poignant tale, even amongst all the other vessels of sadness.
