My Life With Luna

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

Another beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the early 20's. This bridge which is 30 metres deep and 20 metres wide was traditionally erected by salmon fishermen and used to be just a rope bridge with no sides! It has steel hawsers under the wooden slats and rope sides now but is still pretty awesome to cross, I did and was awarded a certificate for my achievement! The views across to Raithlin Island are pretty amazing as are the flora and bird life.
