Three firsts!

In spite of the drizzly gloom I decided to head to Kilnsea this afternoon as rumour had it there were some waxwings there a couple of days ago.

Well - they had moved on - but I saw my very first long eared owl, my first woodcock and this, my first black redstart ..

I also saw a brambling .. not a bad couple of hours birding!
