Amusing?

Patch of sidewalk, patch of parking lot, grey day. (SOOC) AMUSING is the challenge topic. You may not find this amusing, but I do. I wanted to take a blurry abstract like the ones by freespiral and bighill. With iOS 7 my iPhone camera has a burst mode, so I held the button down and swung my arm madly through the air. Result: a dozen perfectly sharp clear well-focused boring pictures at weird angles to the horizon. Deleted them and tried again, moving my arm even faster! But the shutter was faster yet. This was the best of the lot. If I want to capture a dancer in mid-leap, I'm all set. But a plain old blurry abstract, nyet. This is as abstract as it gets. The challenge didn't say "amusing photo," right? I hereby submit "silly photographer"! Note, though, that the straight lines are slightly curved. This effect was noticeable throughout the experiment, as if the camera were racing to catch up with my wild gesticulations. The curvature of space-time! Note also that HDR was on. I think it might be worth trying again with it off. But that's an amusement for another day.
