Many Happy Returns

... is the name of the rose! Dedicated to all who were born on 11th October! In particular, this lady, the gran of one of my subs who's just about to enjoy a lovely piece of cake.

The Man and I took The Mother up to Carlisle with us today. We had a trip into B&Q for some wood preservative for the lodge then on to the Toby Carvery for a lovely lunch. Our next stop was the Houghton garden centre for 2 free cups of coffee and a free conifer, again for the lodge.

In the evening I got a call from The Mother, she had fallen and couldn't get up. I hurried over and got her into bed. Thankfully she wasn't hurt but asked if I could stay the night. I did!
