Baking day

As it was too wet to go out visiting more Open Gardens today, Paladian decided to make it a baking day. You can see from the blip that it was highly successful and I can assure you, totally delicious.

The recipes mostly came from the book shown called Cakes by Pam Corbin - River Cottage Handbook No. 8. It is a Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall publication. Hugh is one of our favourite people on TV and we also have all his books and DVDs.

More delicious!

The items made are an apple cake, Victoria sponge, Anzac biscuits and bran muffins. We are not going to eat them all at once, as half will go into the freezer.
