Fantastic experience

We went off to rheged today to attend the graduation ceremony for all who took Part in the national citizens scheme this summer. It was a very pleasant afternoon and good to see some film of what they got up, as we all know they don't tell us parents much about there experiences. It indeed seemed very good and the life experience gained was excellent.
I think it should be part of the curriculum for all kids. A weeks residential outward bound , a week of independent living at Newton rigg and then a week helping in the local community. All for £40 !! And we get it back!! Excellent value.
