Embsay Steam Railway -

A short hop from Skipton.

We took the train from Embsay to Bolton Abbey Station and then
walked up the river to the Abbey. Carried on past towards the Strid
but the weather was against us and we decided to turn back.

Lovely place for a walk and we definately felt we had walked enough.
Just time for a long soak and a snooze before going to the pub
