The Universal Addressability of Dumb Objects

Two heads on a shelf,
Imbued with unspoken fears
Uncomprehending.

(alternative title - Two heads are better than one)

The title is the rather wonderful name of the exhibition at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill .... it was quirky and clever and sought to address the way objects can take on meaning and even "magic" in our minds. Especially as our technology becomes more complex and mysterious, as beyond our comprehension as the weather and night and day were in ancient worlds. At least that's what I thought, but could be completely wrong! - find out more here. It was also a lot of fun!

We are here in our caravan with Adrian and Sue (aka 55daisies) and had a lovely day in Bexhill in glorious sunshine, which was amazing considering the torrential rain the night before.

I had a hard job choosing a blip .... other pictures are here

I am writing this on Sunday morning and the rain is tipping down ..... oh dear!
