Kapiti Island

I drove up to Paraparaumu today, mainly to visit Mitre10 (good garden centre and cafe). When I pulled out of the car park after my visit I looked towards the sea and Kapiti Island looked huge, way bigger than I remember it looking from there. I drove down to the beach to have a look and it seemed to shrink back down to normal size. Too much coffee I think! Anyway, I was quite impressed with the clouds rolling over the top. Back home to do some serious gardening and burn off the excess caffeine!
