Being WildCardinal...

Fire and Water

I haven't done one of these for about a year (last one I did is here), so well overdue for another.

If you have the time, the lines of fire can look so much more spectacular!

Rather than do a tunnel again, I spent the day pondering where would be a good alternative. Somewhere out of the way, safe and also interesting. After a little thought I came up with doing it on one of the bridges over the River Test. I've been here before - see this and this.

So - a few attempts and I managed this. I like that the fire spans the length of the bridge, the pattern of the railings and also the reflection in the water. A lot more artistic than my previous attempt.

After the final run I spotted a couple of torches in a garden just up the river. I guess someone saw the sparks and headed out to investigate. I waited long enough to make sure that there were no fires in the bushes (which the rain would have doused anyway) before heading home.

A few back-blips which I didn't get around to uploading earlier in the week:

Thursday 10 October 2013: Pollen
Friday 11 October 2013: Ashley
