Colander Girl

It's War Weekend in Pickering again! But very poor weather this year so not as busy as usual or as great for photo opportunities, unfortunately. We braved the rain for a walk into town to see the parade and marvel at the hundreds of 1940s re-enactors in a variety of costumes -- lots in military gear as you'd expect, but also civilians, including adults dressed as evacuees and this woman who was inexplicably wearing a colander as a hat.
