Rogues Gallery

This morning I drove down to Godalming to spend the weekend with an old school friend. We spent the afternoon chatting and catching up with each other and had a lovely walk around the town.

Then this evening we went to an ice hockey match. (My friend had managed to get us some free tickets for the event through her work.) It was the Guildford Flames versus the Manchester Phoenix. It was a fantastic contest and the last ten minutes were nail biting. It was 2-2 and looked like it was going to be a draw. Then the Guildford Flames put together a brilliant goal and the home team were victorious. The whole place erupted and we all went home on a high.

This is a selection of the winning team - a rather bearded bunch - I think they were growing them for a particular charity.
