Deadline Shoe

Today I've been setting up a scene to paint for my final piece for my Painting Techniques module. I had a choice of any topic I liked, but have decided to stick with the pink high heel.

So the next stage is to paint this scene in two painting techniques of my choice as a trial run for the final piece. (I'll be leaving out the black cable!). I've chosen to do one in a pointillism style - tiny dots of pure colour, and the other in a loose palette knife style.

I then have to choose which is the one I prefer and paint it again in the same technique but on a larger scale, and with more detail, to produce the final piece.
