down by the lake

I was shattered this morning and could easily have spent all day indoors watching DVDs. Decided against that because I had promised myself that I would resume normal blip service after 3 days of snapping whatever I could in a few seconds.

A bit of blue sky encouraged me to venture out. I took a lot of shots by the shore of Windermere. Lighting was tricky and several people were feeding the gulls so numerous photos were ruined by a load of fuzzy feathers in front of the lens. The two people on the jetty are taking photos with an iPad (or similar) - think I feel happier with a camera strap firmly round my neck!
