New tiles and extended pavilion in Priory Park

One of the first events to take place in the newly extended pavilion in Priory Park, Dudley (actually, it is still not fully open!) was a talk by Karen and Charlie Slade of the Company of Artisans about the superb tiles that have been put around the ruins of the Priory. A very enjoyable event, and I'm sure few people appreciate just how much work they put into research into the original tiles, designing the new ones, and producing and laying tone. It was also encouraging to hear about how they involved the children from local schools.
