The Vain Jackdaws...

Spotted these two preening themselves on the old herring shed at Ballantrae harbour - reminded me of Aesop's Fable - The Bird in the Borrowed Feathers.

A great morning walk for Flossie & Alfie whilst enjoying the sunshine and variety of birdlife.
