Christmas is Coming

Yep you guessed it, 13th October and whilst carrying out the weekly shop at a well-known supermarket (think green) Mrs F and I spotted these yummy looking “exceedingly merry… Festive Bakewells” in all their lovely Christmas packaging.

Now for the Rant……

Please, please, please Mr and Mrs Supermarket owners. Christmas is nearly 2 and a half months away.

Toys... OK,
Gifts... No problem,
Party Clothes… Fine,
Christmas Cards… I can put up with.

But perishable food who’s best before date is 7 weeks before Christmas!!!! This has to stop. Before we know it we will be getting Christmas stock in the stores before we go on our summer holidays.
